Below are some of the most commonly asked questions. Please inquire with Jay’s Catering for specific questions and information.

What time will my event end?

All events must end no later than 11:00pm unless previously arranged.

What time can set-up begin?

Three hours before your event start time unless previously arranged.

Can I have amplified music or a live band?

Yes. However, all OUTSIDE amplified music must end at 10:00pm.

Do you allow outside catering?

No. We are proud to have Jay’s Catering as our exclusive caterer. They have exceptional cuisine and are happy to customize a menu to suit your taste and style.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. It must be provided by Jay’s Catering.

What is the guest capacity?

We can accommodate up to 200 guests in the Grand Salon. We can accommodate up to 250 guests for a cocktail reception, utilizing both the Grand Salon and the Lounge.

Does Coto Valley Country Club provide tables & chairs?

Tables and Chivari chairs are included in the facility rental fee.

Do I have to rent a dance floor?

No. It is entirely up to you.

Where can my guests park?

There are 150 parking spaces that surround Coto Valley Country Club.

Can I put a date on hold?

Yes, we offer complimentary holds on dates for up to one weeke. If someone wants to book your date during that two week period, you will be required to make a decision, sign a contract and submit a deposit.

What is required to formally book a date at Coto Valley Country Club?

We require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and a signed copy of a Coto Valley Country Club Facility Rental Agreement to consider your date formally booked. Personal check or cashier’s check are accepted for payment. The remainder of the Facility Fee and Security Deposit is due 90 days prior to your event date.

What is the Security Deposit for?

The Security Deposit is due 90 days prior to your event date and is provided in case of any damage to the venue. Please refer to your Event Contract for further information regarding damage charges and possible repair costs.  Should the premises be left in good condition, the Security Deposit will be returned in full.

Is Security required?

Coto Valley Country Club may require you to hire approved security for your event, depending on the type of event and number of guests. Requirement and number of security guards is at Coto Valley Country Club’s discretion.

Wedding Questions:

Do I need to have a Wedding Coordinator?

Yes, Coto Valley Country Club requires that you hire a professional Wedding Coordinator to manage the day of your event. If you do not already have one, you may hire our onsite Day of Coordinator. Trust us, this will be one of the best gifts you give yourself!

Does Coto Valley Country Club allow candles?

Yes, candles may be used if they are enclosed in proper holders and the flame is protected on all sides.

Is there a room for me to get ready in?

Yes, we have a Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room that can be used for getting ready and photography. They are available three hours before your event start time.
